CHELATION COMPLEX

We have two heart health formulas. Our basic heart health formula is called Cardioplex. Co-Enzyme Q-10 (2 forms)

There has been so much written about Co-Enzyme Q-10 in recent years, we hardly know where to start. Co-Enzyme Q-10 is a nutritional supplement that is specific to supporting the mitochondria of the cell. The mitochondria is called the powerhouse of the cell and is where the cells in your body get their energy. Virtually every cell in your body have mitochondria. The amount of mitochondria in a given cell depend on what the function of that particular cell is and its importance to your system.

For example, the heart is responsible for moving blood through your system 24 hours a day. It must constantly work to keep you alive. For this reason, heart cells, have far more mitochondria than any other type of cell in your body. Even heart specialists are finally beginning to see the importance of Co-Enzyme Q-10 and are recommending it to their patients. By the time we reach our mid 40's our body's own production of Co-Enzyme Q-10 is about half of what it was in our 20's. For this reason, many choose to supplement their Co-Enzyme Q-10. Many have reported that they have more energy, are no longer short of breath, and that many different health problems have vanished. With the increased use of statin drugs, Co-Enzyme Q-10 is being used more and more by nutritional minded AND orthodox physicians. Statin drugs have been proven to block Co-Enzyme Q-10 production. Co-Enzyme Q-10 is ESSENTIAL to heart function. The “rare” but serious side effects that you hear about with statin (cholesterol lowering) drugs is not just serious, it is VERY serious. Those symptoms, muscle weakness, shortness of breath, etc is an indication that the Co-Enzyme Q-10 levels have dropped to the point that there isn’t enough available to provide the energy for muscle function. And don’t forget, the heart is a muscle, and a rather important one at that.

Since many of the cells utilized in our defense mechanism have a large quantity of mitochondria naturopaths and nutritionists have claimed for decades that Co-Enzyme Q-10 plays a major role in our immune system. In just the past few years, more and more professionals are jumping on the bandwagon. Several studies and books have been published on the subject.

We have two Co-Enzyme Q-10 products. The other Co-Enzyme Q-10 product is a good economical way to get efficient absorption from Ubiquinone. It is designed in a sublingual tablet so that the Co-Enzyme Q-10 is absorbed directly through the sublingual artery thereby by-passing the digestive tract and allowing for more efficient absorption.

Ubiquinol _ CO Enzyme Q-10 (water soluble)

The Ubiquinol form of Co-Enzyme Q-10 has been proven through research to be absorbed at least 3 times more efficiently than the original Co-Enzyme Q-10 which is called Ubiquinone. They sound similar, and they are, but they are different in one very important way. Ubiquinol is water soluble whereas the older form of Co Enzyme Q-10 known as ubiquinone is oil soluble. Oil soluble nutrients are more difficult to absorb through the digestive system. This is where Ubiquinol comes in. Research has proven that because of its water soluble properties, Ubiquinol is picked up in the digestive system 300%- 400% better than Ubiquinone.

Co Enzyme Q-10- SUB LINGUAL TABLETS

Since Co Enzyme Q-10 is oil soluble, it is recommended that it be taken with meals, or an oil based nutritional supplement. Probably, the best form of Co Enzyme Q-10 is the water soluble form known as ubiquinol. However, the sublingual form is the second best way to absorb Co-Enzyme Q-10 and it is probably more cost effective. Right now, the demand has dropped on the older form ubiquinone causing a significant price drop while the demand on ubiquinol (the water soluble form) is great causing it to be much more expensive. When comparing the price on these two products, please note that the sublingual form (designed to be dissolved under the tongue or between the cheek and gum) contains 100 tablets and the capsule form contains only 60 softgels.

EPA 1000

These oils have been cited in numerous studies as being an important factor in preventing heart and coronary disease. Our softgel EPA 1000 supplies the following:

1000 mg of concentrated fish-body oils yielding ( in addition to other marine fatty acids) the following amounts of omega-3 fatty acids.

EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid)- 180 mg & DHA (docosahexaenoic acid)- 120 mg

VASCULASE

Vasculase is a two phase tablet that is a mix of bioflavonoids, vitamins, minerals, amino acids and botanical extracts built on a potent foundation of the enzymes Natto-kinase,Trypsin and Bromelain. The enzymes are microencapsulated with a ph sensitive enteric coating to insure duodenal absorption.
